Constant Illusion
I had a dream between 2005-2006, and it was the last vision, that I really had for a long time thereafter. I had fallen asleep on the floor of the front room, and had this vision.
For years I wondered what to do about it, and finally, just recently I have composed it in a short video.
This video is about how we take things for granted. We live in an age where we just assume that nothing will change, and that everything is constant.
Constants are the illusion. they provide us a false sense of security, and certainty. This is most true, as we live our lives on a personal level, we do not expect people to die, even though death is inevitable. We expect our friends to be the same, or to be married for ever. We convince ourselves, by affirmations or saying 4ever, or writing on a tree or cement, that it is certain, it is constant.
Yet we do not even know our next breath, or what will happen tomorrow. How much more can we assume to know?
In this video I talk about constants, and if we can not find security and certainty in them, then where can we find that?

iPhone Backup and Restore Help!
I wanted to share this with anyone who is frustrated and runs into the problem that I had.
My scenario was that I had an iPhone 5, that the screen bubbled up, and the phone was failing to function properly. I contacted the warranty support group, and received a new phone.
I backed up my iPhone with iTunes, and had a complete backup on my computer. Then I plugged in the new phone, and things did not work.
It started because the phone I had was upgraded to iOS 8.4, and the new iPhone came with iOS 7.x, so it could not restore.
I had to setup the new iPhone as a new device on iTunes, and then I had to upgrade it to iOS 8.x. Once it was upgraded I started a restore but to my frustration, it did not restore anything from my previous phone. In fact when I clicked restore, iTunes told me it would only take a few seconds to restore. I knew that was not correct, since I was expecting iTunes to restore 55GB of data, and that should take longer than 5 seconds.
In this video, I show you exactly what buttons to click and where to look. At the end of the video, you will be able to restore your entire phone, as a COPY, with EVERYTHING intact, as it was.
Mind you, that when you do the full restore, you will have to reenter the passwords for all email accounts, and you will have to enter info for websites or apps that require usernames and passwords, but how the home screen looks, all the apps you have installed, and how everything is arranged will come back 100%.
I read many articles that said this was not possible, and I am here to say that if you follow this video, you will see how you can have the same results that I had, as I ran across this problem on my own. The video is 10 min, and I take the time to explain this, the cause, and the resolution.
Watch the video, and get the tips and tricks you need to go and restore your iPhone, and hopefully, I will save you the 3+ hours of frustration, plus the lost day and a 1/2 that I spent trying to just transfer the contents of my phone, to the new phone.

Fix your PS3 YLOD
How to fix your PS3 YLOD (Yellow Light of Death). Fix a PS3 that overheated. Fix a PS3 that turns off, as soon as you turn it on.
I had an older PS3 (Playstation 3), the 60G one that plays PS2 (Playstation 2) games ( it is backwards compatible ). I had left it out next to a fireplace, and one morning when I woke up to play it, it stopped working. I experienced the YLOD.
It sat for a year, before I discovered how to fix the unit. First off, if you buy a unit, check your warranty. If you have a warranty use that first. My warranty ran out, and so I decided to try and fix it myself.
While I was researching the internet I tried a few suggestions, and some of them met with minimal success, but I still did not understand why it broke in the first place, and what I was really fixing.
In this video, I explain what actually happens, and how you may be able to fix your unit as well. I assume that this would work for any of the thick units. Those are the ones that are black, look like the pictures, and have a slot for an SD Card, and Compact Flash flip open cover, on the left top front.
I felt that this information was worth sharing, not only how to fix it, but why it broke in the first place. The technique that I use in the video, I explain exactly what to do, however if you look in the comments, I explain that you may need to repeat the technique a few times, if it only works for a short while, or does not work, just try it again.
I had another unit, that stopped working, and I fixed it in a different way. It had different symptoms. If you think your PS3 might suffer from that problem, then write a comment, and I’ll see about getting a video up to show you how to fix that problem.
Branson, Missouri – Water and light show with gas power!
If you ever head up to Branson, Missouri, you want to check out this show. It is located downtown right at the river. This show featured a music on a PA, and a timed synchronization of lights, water pistons, and towers of gas, that move and change with the music. It is quite a fun time, that makes going downtown at night a must for visitors.
This clip is brief, at only 1m 8s. I hope you get the feel for the show. If you are standing where the swing is crossing over the river, walk to the left, and you will quickly come to the water fountains with the tall towers.
Above each tower, is a gas furnace, that lights up light a touch. It is fascinating to watch, and fun for the whole family.
While I was there, a steamboat, or a riverboat, stopped in the river, to watch the show as well.
I believe the show was going on around 8:00pm, shortly after dusk. I believe the city runs the show, so you may want to go and look at the city calendar to find out more details. While I was there, there were a couple hundred people around the whole area, though right by the water fountain, it was not very crowded.
How to spread Diatomaceous Earth
How to apply, and inexpensively spread and treat areas of your house using Diatomaceous Earth. Also can be used to treat the outside of your house. For ridding your house of small insects, such as fleas, bed bugs, ants, chiggers, silverfish, and other hard to rid pests.
When I went to Home Depot to buy Diatomaceous Earth, I had a hard time finding a way to actually spread or treat parts of my house.
After one time I trying to coat the back yard with a layer of what seems like flour or snow, I decided that there must be a better way to spread this great product.
After learning a way to spread Diatomaceous Earth more efficiently inside my house, I talked to a friend of mine, who had used a different method. What we said, was that after a few days there was still a plume of smoke and cloud from the Diatomaceous Earth.
It was then I decided that I would share my solution in a video, so that more people looking to work with Diatomaceous Earth might find a way to spread it, so that it is much more enjoyable and pleasant to use.
After watching this video, you will know and understand how to follow exactly what I did, and then you will be able to treat the inside of your house without the plume of smoke and dust in your house, as my friend experienced.

How to fix your shark steam mop (green or purple model)
How to fix a shark steam mop (1) powers on (2) heats up (3) pump is working (4) no steam.
I had bought a Shark Steam mop, and had been using it a few times, when all of a sudden it stopped working.
I happened to buy this model at Target, and found that I had owned it for three months, and would have to go to the manufacturer for any resolution.
After reading the warranty card, I had little faith in the manufacturer honoring the warranty. In the way that the warranty is written, it is written in a way, in which the manufacturer can escape fulfilling the warranty work in a multitude of ways.
After deciding that I felt I could fix the unit if I tried, and returns and the manufacturer were ruled out, I began to take the unit apart.
In my life, I have decided that I want to contribute and give back, the knowledge that was freely given to me, in my ability to tinker and understand mechanical things, as well as understand the way a unit was designed, so while I took apart my unit, I decided to take a video of all that I did, and how you may have a way to fix your unit as well.

This track is unamed, it features a Korg Poly800, Roland TR-909, Juno-6, and Juno 106, MKS-30, EMU Morpheus, Ultra Proteus, and Audity 2000.
The Album is called Analog Circuits, as the music contained is all very analog and very vintage in nature.
This is part of the original recordings that were on Tascam DA-88s. The TR-909 was on a master, that was mis-produced, so this is the content that was salvaged from the DA-88 master.
The cosmic etheral sounds, remind me of the analog circuits of old, that were put together, back before quality control, and they were often different from each other. We live in a day that is far from the technical difficulties that I faced in 2000. When computers were barely fast enough to run a few tracks of audio in real time.
Today our technology is so fast and quick, I can record 100+ tracks and it barely flips the meter on the thunderbolt interface. Back then I had megabytes of space, today we look at terrabytes. I remember when I could only hope to have all the equipment that I needed to store and access all the music I wrote. That possibility came in 2007, and today, its is my smallest pile of data.
Analog Circuits is a step back in time to think about when things used to be so hard and difficult. Part of the difficulty culminated in patience and persistence. It was evolution in a way. Only those who persisted would be able to get by in a world that was so unpredictable, and chaotic.
In the days of digital, things have become so much easier, but at the same time, we have lost our way in the pursuit of the nature of those things which allowed us to grow that patience, and persistence. In a world filled with right now, and the “latest”, we have no end for discovering character in cold digital world.
In truth the character of the analog circuits, especially in the musical world, was that often the design had unpredictable effects. The Massive Passive EQ, that was made by Manley, was better left unset. As just passing sound through the unit, without adjusting it, had a pleasurable sound. Many of the analog consoles, such as the Soundcraft, or SSL, or Midas, the sounds between the channels interacted on the voltage of the bus, which allowed the sounds to be combined in a way which was not possible with digital. What used to be seen as a bad design, crosstalk, was now in the digital age a sought after feature.
In our pursuit to go to better, and better, and better, within our lives, and within our selves. We often face a dilemma, of wondering if we made the right choice, or how was it then, or is it better now. Truly when applied to ourselves, the answer is quite simple. A practice of regular self-reflection and attaining a greater awareness of oneself, is always a place to start. In this way, you can be more sure to not pass by moments, that you were too distracted in, to realize what was going on in front of your eyes. Be well my friend, and take care.

This track was unnamed, it is a song that was written in 1998. It is a slow-paced and easy going song, which is meant to slow down, and carry your mind away from that which distracts you, to a place of peace and contemplation.
Recorded on Tascam DA-88s, through a SoundCraft LX7, it was eventually mastered on Logic Pro years later. The Ibanez guitar is run through a Zoom 9150 tube guitar effects processor. There are sounds from a Roland TR-909, JV-880, JV-1080, EMU Ultra Proteus, Kawai K11, and other wonderful synths.
The album title comes from the place of contemplating the Cross. Many times in life we live in a place of relativity. That is we think from where we are at the moment. Since every one is at a different place, we all think from different spaces. In the days before Jesus Christ, this was a huge problem, in fact that is the reason that Abraham was chosen by God. In the days of Abraham, every man did as he pleased, and as a result, there was chaos and disorder.
In this rampant disorder there was no justice, nor could there be an penalty or accountability. Where there is no reference, there is no way to hold to any kind of justice, or begin to evaluate one conclusion over another. There must be a point of reference for there to be order, justice, and a sense of direction. If there is none established, than everyone is blind .
God called out Abraham, as one who tried to do what was right, who tried to do what he believed in his heart was the right thing to do. This pleased God, because God had given him his heart, and that he followed it, was pleasing to God.
In this day and age, and over time, we are much like those who lived in the days of Abraham. There is a great deal of corruption and injustice all over the world, and through this there is a lack of reference.
To be sane, and find a center of peace in this world, we must have a reference of certainty and security, so that we may attain to self-control, and restraint, to grow and mature.
Therefore it is necessary to define in our lives a point, that does not change. This is why God says through the Bible, over and over, that He does not change. It is to give us security and certainty. That if we pursue His ways, that HE will take care of us, and those promises are as true today, as they have ever been.
If you find that your life, is lacking in security, and things are always in random chaos, and you are not in your heart liking where you are, and you wish it was better, that things could be better, and you earnestly in your heart yearn for a better way to live, then God is speaking to you right now, to come and make the Cross a reference point in your life, in fact to make the Cross, the single point of reference in your life. Seek out Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and begin on a journey, a process where you will be lead to your hearts desire, and believe me, you will find a joy and happiness that you would have never realized possible before. Allow God to work in your life, as you take shelter in His protection, and find your life transformed, in as many ways as you can imagine, even beyond what you thought possible. Every Knee Shall Bow, is a track that has a chill and cool jazz feel. The song is composed of bass, classical guitar, hollow-body guitar, featuring vox amps, and Ibanez guitars and basses. The track was not named at the time of posting, and keeps its original name, meaning that it was recorded on Sept 28, 2014.
The track is enriched with a live lead from a Roland SH-101, that heard near 2:45, of the playing time.
The album title is written from the point of the believers, that everything is calm and cool, because what God said has then come to pass. Seeing that this was as expected, there is a calm sense of peace and security, because the certainty of the Lord is being fulfilled before their eyes.
The track is designed for meditation and relaxation, upon, where it is beneficial to think about the hope that is far ahead, rather than what is going on right now. The calm believer, is aware of this, and steadies themselves for the rocky road, that leads to the day of peace.
It is this concept, that the believer does not recognize that they are exempt from danger, but that they will be protected, or guided through it. The idea of being prepared for an adverse situation is not so common in this day and age. Though in some corporate or government ways this policy might vaguely exist, this concept is relatively foreign when it is concerned with an individuals scope.
It might seem foreign to look for protection in a time of distress, which is what leads many people to panic, worry and fear, and it is those emotions which turn into actions, that cause much of the turmoil and distress in life to begin with.
Learning the possibility of options and outcomes coupled with enough self-control to seek some wisdom and guidance, is a step to a doorway of peace and a fulfillment of needs being met. The ability to restrain the actions, based on underlying motives, where one is aware enough to distinguish whether one is acting in peace, or worry, or anxiety, from a place of panic, or of sound mind, is a major difference in the outcomes of life that you can expect, since they are often fueled by this simple point of view.
A simplicity of change in the most critical moments of a stressful situation, can bring an enormous amount of peace and comfort, no matter the amount of adversity that one may face. This concept is highly regarded as the ability to change perspective, or to change one’s hope about what is actually possible and even achievable. Be well, and take care my friend.
